Breakthrough Clinical’s Editorial Director Stacey Simmons, DDS, describes the oral pathology case of a 50-year-old female who presented for a routine new-patient exam. Her panoramic radiograph revealed an almost-vague radiodense lesion on the lower left side, around the apices of teeth Nos. 20–22, measuring approximately 3 cm x 1.5 cm. The patient was unaware of the presence of the lesion.
